New Beginnings
A belated Happy New Year!
I can’t believe we are already in week 3 of 2019. My perennial new year resolution to cut down on chocolate related treats is already starting to wane but this year is going to be different.
I am not referring to finally being able to say no to another M&S chocolate truffle. I think I should just accept that this is never going to happen and move on. This year is going to be different on an entirely different and more exciting, but less fattening, horizon.
After onboarding and working with our initial clients over the last couple of months, we are coming out of stealth mode and ready to share some exciting news. My partner and I have co-founded a new marketing strategy agency, Bulldog & Maple.
After over 35 combined years working in senior brand, marketing and digital roles for some of the most respected brands in the world, such as, Microsoft, The Financial Times, NET-A-PORTER, Paul Smith, ELLE Magazine, Urban Outfitters and the University of London, we have brought together our shared passion for storytelling and marketing to create the agency we always wanted to work with ourselves, but could never find. An agency that is less focused on one off and short-term projects, but an agency that is more nimble, strategic, collaborative and committed to your business for the long term.
With Bulldog & Maple, we aim to become partners in our clients business and help them meet and exceed their revenue and growth objectives and make a real impact across their community.
Our experience is varied across B2B and B2C and have worked extensively across EdTech, start-ups, government, tech, luxury, retail and publishing. Our focus and passion is to use this expertise to support dynamic and entrepreneurial companies to achieve their growth objectives and stand out from the crowd. Ultimately, we work with business leaders who need strong, unbiased direction from experienced marketers.
We’ve been working with some really inspiring clients during our stealth phase, particularly around strategy development and campaign execution, and looking forward to bringing those plans to life with them and their teams throughout 2019.
I was really touched when one of our lovely clients, Scriberia, created this illustration of me as if I was an official member of the team.
It’s early days, but we are super excited to be meeting and working with lots of new people and helping more businesses with their marketing, brand and digital challenges.
If you’d like to work with us to too, we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to find out more information about us and discuss how we can help scale up your business.
All the best in 2019!
Tim
